The youngest professional of the firm, Steve Stowers brings a youthful exuberance as well as knowledge of the latest design techniques for environmental building design, including daylighting, thermal mass, double envelope systems, ground source cooling, and other energy-saving, green building design systems. As part of his education, Mr. Stowers studied for four months in Europe. Traveling primarily in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, and Spain, he gained a working knowledge of both modern and historical architecture. Mr. Stowers serves as project manager, overseeing project development for institutional, commercial, and civic buildings. He also serves as one of the office CAD managers, responsible for supervision and quality control and implementation of new software. Mr. Stowers’ technical background includes plan, detail, section, and 3D design as well as schematic design, site analysis, and construction contract administration.
